British Nerdery: Sports Edition
The lacrosse team of my university decided, for reasons entirely unknown to myself, to go out after their final match of the semester dressed as SMURFS. The fact that 'Smurf' is actually one of my nicknames (y'know, blue hair) is irrelevant. The point here is that even bastions of masculinity and athleticism get the geek treatment in England. AWESOME.
